Antigravity may get a “Running” tab as Jules winds down

TestingCatalog shared an alleged developer-only screen for background tasks. Google has confirmed Jules’ shutdown, but not a release date for this interface.

A settings screen labelled “Running (Dev only)” is the latest clue to Antigravity’s background-agent plans. On 30 October, TestingCatalog (@testingcatalog) shared the screenshot and reported that a new tab is on the way. Its description refers to tasks and terminals left running by agents across conversations. The captured screen is empty: it shows a proposed place to inspect work, not an agent completing a job.

The timing matters because Google is consolidating its coding tools. In its 29 October notice, Google says Jules will close on 31 December, with sessions available to finish until 11 November and read-only access afterward. The Jules team separately said it is bringing lessons from the service into Antigravity, including autonomous remote background work. That establishes the direction; it does not authenticate this particular screen.

TestingCatalog also expects more advanced scheduled runs. Those are a further claim: the image shows no scheduling controls. For developers, the consequential question is whether Antigravity will take over unattended jobs before Jules stops accepting work. Neither the screenshot nor the cited Google statements gives that handover a date.
